We do. With our in-house blood testing, we can have results back in around 15 minutes, helping us move quickly from diagnosis to treatment when your pet needs it most.
Yes, we do. We use CoVet Veterinary AI scribe software during consultations to accurately transcribe our veterinary notes, allowing us to focus more on you and your pet. We also use the IDEXX Imagyst system, an AI-assisted microscope that evaluates blood smears, skin lump samples, and fine needle aspirates from internal organs such as the liver. These cytology slides are additionally reviewed by an external expert pathologist, with same-day diagnostic results often available.
Yes, we regularly treat cases of poisoning, including food poisoning and other common household hazards. If you suspect ingestion, contact us immediately (even before symptoms appear), as early treatment can change the outcome.
Treat it as an emergency. Make your way directly to the hospital, and phone us on your way so we can have everything ready to assess and treat your dog if a snake bite is confirmed. Snake bites can deteriorate quickly, and prompt assessment and treatment are critical.

Yes. We vaccinate many rabbits with Filavac, which helps protect against both strains of RHDV (rabbit haemorrhagic disease virus). If you’re unsure what your rabbit needs, we can guide you.
Yes. We provide behaviour guidance, practical strategies, and, when appropriate, medication support, and our nurse-run Puppy Pre-school helps build confidence early to reduce anxiety patterns later.

Yes. We have in-house blood testing, digital X-ray and ultrasound, allowing many conditions to be investigated and diagnosed on the same day. We also have an Imagyst machine, an AI-powered microscope used to scan cytology specimens and blood smears, which are then reviewed by external pathologists, often enabling same-day diagnosis. This helps reduce waiting times and get treatment started sooner.
Absolutely. Preventative care, health checks and early assessment are a big part of what we do. If something doesn’t feel quite right, it’s always worth having it checked.

Such an Amaxing team of caring people. They provided excellent care for our beautiful Penny who had a very bad wound. The outcome is amazing. It was a journey but they made the ride of healing a nasty wound so less stressful and painless for Penny.
Shadow and Bertie are regular and (mostly!)very happy clients of Dr Elizabeth and the Casey and Cranbourne Veterinary Hospital. Shadow doesn’t know those needles keep her pain free. Thank you all
